Teen Court Sessions:
Held twelve months a year on designated Mondays. Cases to be heard must be set on the docket in advance. Volunteer jurors, 7th grade and  above, are welcome.
 

Location: Midland County Courthouse, 500 N. Loraine

Time: Check-in at 5:00 pm; plan to stay until dismissed by the judge, usually about 7:00 p.m.

Dress Code: Long pants or skirts/dress, shirts must be tucked into waistband for anyone entering the courtroom.

Midland Teen Court Traffic Education Classes

Required attendance for any youth with a traffic-related offense in Midland Teen Court. (Please contact Midland Teen Court office for alternative if unable to attend due to school, athletics or work conflicts.)  There is no charge for this class.

Location: (Midland ISD Administration Building), 615 W. Missouri #226 (the corner of Missouri and "A" Street)

Registration required in advanced: students may register at court, call the Midland Teen Court office 689-1065, or email mbeck@midlandteencourt.org. or aaraujo@midlandteencourt.org

 

Space is limited:  Failure to attend after registering (without advanced notification) results in 1 added hour of community service.  Traffic class schedule:  Please see calendar below for upcoming classes.

Midland Teen Court Educational Seminars:

Midland Teen Court offers monthly educational seminars free of charge on varying topics helpful to all youth.

Who may attend:  any youth (those with a case in Teen Court receive 3 hours community service for each class attended);  teen attorneys and other volunteer youth are encouraged to attend.

Registration required in advance:  youth may sign up at court, call the Teen Court Office 689-1065, or email
