A youth or his parent or guardian must contact the Midland Teen Court office (689-1065) to schedule a Teen Court appearance after deferral by a Municipal Court Judge or Justice of the Peace. Non-traffic cases also schedule a 30-minute appointment in the Midland Teen Court office to go over procedures and requirements, the facts of the case, and subsequent consequences. Traffic cases require only telephone contact to schedule the date of the Teen Court hearing and review facts and procedures.
